Joke
#1
The graveside service just barely finished, when there was
massive clap of thunder, followed by a tremendous bolt of lightning,

accompanied by even more thunder rumbling in the distance...

The little old man looked at the pastor and calmly said, 'Well, she's
there.'

I guess it has to do with that speed of light thing. I grew up in Costa Rica. When i was a small child, i was hanging out by the window looking at the rain, when suddenly a huge bolt of lightning hit the middle of the street! Let's just say i didn't hang around to hear the sound.

I grew up in Panama' and had a very similar experience.

We had a rainy season there so lightening was, during the season, daily.

One day the lightening hit a tree across the street. There was no warning it was coming so there were several kids outside.

The tree was split right in half.

I did not measure the pee spot in my pants.

(apologies to Ken)

I went to Panama in 1980, visited the canal. It was a very cool experience.

My wife and I were in Costa Rica and Panama in Jan this year. When we were in Costa Rica we saw some remnants of your visit there in 1980.
